The Questions listed below have been submitted by CACWT workgroup members.  The answers to some of the questions may change over time.

Who will be providing tech support for County Workers in the Statewide SIS/LMS? State or RTAs?We’re currently working on the workflow details for technical support. RTAs will be a tier of support for county coordinators and users within their regions. Blackboard has a ticketing platform that will be used to manage LMS related support.
When will the Principles of Concurrent Planning curriculum be set up in Blackboard and ready for RTAs and Counties to test?The T4T eLearning can be made available in the test instance of Blackboard as early as next week. We are still working on the format of an instructor-lead training and should have a sample/template for our October 23rd meeting.
When will the Blackboard Admin Training Academy Certification self-study courses be ready for RTAs to start?Names have been submitted to Blackboard for the certificate series. Users should be added as early as next week.
When will the live (virtual) Blackboard small training sessions RTAs and County reps can attend be scheduled?We are still awaiting details regarding which county reps will be participating before scheduling the Live Training.
Will the CalSWEC work Task Tracking Sheet include due dates for tasks?Yes
When will test data be available in the test instance of Genius for RTAs to look at?Importing data is contingent upon the following:  Genius will need to finalize the mapping process.  Updated RTA import files will need to be sent to Genius.
What will the workflow look like for our current staff? Who will create courses and classes in the system for each delivery?Statewide mandated and standardized training courses will be created by CalSWEC and available to RTAs and Counties to manage scheduling and enrollment of learners within course sections.RTAs will also manage the creation and enrollments of any other offerings that they have that are region-specific."
Are there standardization requirements for RTA or County specific course offerings?There are guidelines available for development, however, there are no specific requirements other than those documents for content to meet ADA accessibility standards.
How is Genius mapping the Qualtrics ID to the Unique ID in the Student profile?Genius uses it’s ID Database Management tool to link IDs in Genius to contacts within Qualtrics. Genius uses its ID Database Management tool to link IDs in Genius to contacts within Qualtrics.
Can the Live Blackboard Trainings be recorded so that we can use them for internal trainings?  Also, will Sara's email detail the topics that will be covered in these trainings?Recordings from the live trainer, administrator, and support staff trainings are available to Admins within the ARC.
Are there going to be any formal trainings for Genius?  At least a guided training pathway for self-directed training?  Similar to the BB Admin Certification course we are completing? Administrator and support staff training was provided for RTAs in January 2021.  Additional regional trainings will be available throughout the month of March.  Also, Mauricio will be conducting 1-hour open office Q&As every other Friday beginning April 9th, from 1-2pm.  Open office hours are for administrator and support staff assistance.
Will we be given Administrator level permission in Blackboard so that we can complete the assignments in the BB Admin Certification course? Affiliation managers have admin privileges in Blackboard.  All other Admin roles in Genius are able to be granted other course roles, but do not have system admin access.
After Supervisor Core and Concurrent Planning are uploaded into Blackboard, what is the schedule for uploading and launching the rest of the standardized courses into Blackboard?All state-mandated training will become available July 1st, 2021.  CDSS and CalSWEC staff are working to remediate the curriculum that has been approved by CDOG for 2021 updates.  New courses will be added to the system each month for testing between January 1st soft-launch and July 1st Full Launch.   At this time, no other training curriculum beyond Concurrent planning and Supervisor Core are expected to be made available before full launch.
It appears that there is a new instance of Blackboard as the test course and activity stream have disappeared as well as admin access. Is this the case and if so, when can we gain admin access again? The people we imported using CSV will not have to do this step can the guideline document be edited to say that steps 4 and 5 may be optional or something?Yes. There are two instances of the CACWT system.  Only one is available to Trainees, whereas both systems are available to Administrators.  For the purpose of the testing learner record input all data was cleared from the sandbox on December 28th, 2020.  Sample CSV templates for importing into CACWT can be found in the ARC. 
Can we as administrators attend the Live Trainer Orientation if there is space available?Yes.  Administrators can attend any support training offered.
Can we have a Bulk Edit option for changing from Archive to Active?Bulk Archive is available in Genius, under the Learners tab.  Click Bulk Actions, select learners, and then click the Bulk Archive option at the bottom of the window.  At this time there is not a way to Bulk make learners Active.
Can we have RTA Admin Assistant have the option/access to "Import CSV" under the Administration tab?Yes. We are in the process of updating permissions.  Affiliation Managers have the most capabilities of all roles within each affiliation. Other Admin roles have permissions specific to their duties. More details can be found in the CACWT Admin Manual or in the ARC
Can RTA Admins have access to edit auto emails, email templates, email notification settings, etc...?At this time the templates feature is turned off.  It is possible that once all global templates have been edited affiliate managed templates can be turned on.
Is it possible to add more fields to the "Add Section" area...fields requested: County, Contract, Co-Instructor, RTA specific PSS score.Yes. The Training Assistant and Training Assistant Email fields have been added to the sections menu.  Additional fields can be discussed during workgroup meetings.  Testing will happen in sandbox before those features are pushed to the production instance of CACWT.  
Can RTA Admin have access to delete sections created in error?No. The delete object tool is not available to system admins.  The feature cannot be locked down to a specific affiliation.
Is there a way to check in one place whether the participants in training in CACWT completed everything, including the pre/post-tests and evaluation?  I know we can check their accounts individually, but is there also a place to check everyone at once?The best place to view enrollment statuses is from the Enrollment History screen under the Enrollments tab.  From there you can view dropped/completed date, completed status, grade, and survey status. 
Learners are not being prompted to complete the 4 digit pin step in the guidelines document. They are not getting the email with the pin. This is confusing our Learners. Is this turned off? How do we know who is having to complete this step and who isn't?Learners who are created by CSV import are not required to do mult-factor authentication.  Learners who are manually/individually created from the learners' tab by default have multi-factor authentication turned on. The Trainee access guide has been updated to reflect that some trainees may encounter the multi-factor screen upon login, however it is normal if they do not.
